Dr. Randee Ardisana

Dr. Randee cannot imagine herself in a career not helping animals. For a long as she can remember animals have been central in her life. Growing up in Riverside, IL, Dr. Randee spent her childhood exploring ponds in the forest preserve for frogs, watching birds and visiting the Brookfield Zoo at every available opportunity. Soon, Dr. Randee and her family were known around town as the people to go to when there was an animal in need. As a result, the Ardisana household quickly became a home for unwanted pets of all shapes and sizes. They raised ducklings in the backyard while the family dog watched over them and took in homeless rabbits, parakeets and even a macaw to name a few!

When it came time to decide on a career, veterinary medicine seemed like her true calling. Dr. Randee started her education at the University of Illinois studying Animal Science and then went on to graduate from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. She has been practicing at Stateline Hillcrest ever since. Her special interests in veterinary medicine include dentistry, surgery and preventive care. She also enjoys working with shelter pets through the local humane societies.

Dr. Randee lives in Danville with her rescue dogs Riley, a beagle-mix and Lexi, a pit-bull mix, a rescue cockatiel named Artemis, her husband and young son. She enjoys hiking at Kickapoo and Kennekuk with her dogs, bird watching in her backyard, kayaking and paddle boarding on Lake Vermilion and traveling near and far whenever possible.
